Man charged in Fentress County homicide


FENTRESS COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man has been charged in connection with a deadly weekend stabbing in Jamestown.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation responded Sunday to the scene on Casto Knepp Road where Mark Anthony Jennings, 36, was found dead.

During the course of the investigation, the TBI said Wayne Ellis Kassow, 37, was developed as a suspect in the stabbing.

Kassow was arrested Monday morning and charged with criminal homicide.

He was booked into the Fentress County jail on a $500,000 bond.
