Trees down, power out after Thursday's storm

The before and after of Thursday night's storms were captured by several residents in Tennessee and Kentucky who were in the paths.

News 2 tracked everything from reports of a person injured in Cumberland County after lightning struck a home to trees knocked down.

Don Frazier sent Meteorologist Danielle Breezy a photo of two 30-year-old apple trees in Algood knocked down, completely uprooted by straight line winds.

Near Lafayette, ominous clouds taken by Sierra Blankenship show the storm about to roll through Macon County.

Southern Kentucky experienced several power outages due to the storms.

According to electric company WRECC, dozens of residents were without power around the Bowling Green area, headed east toward Russellville.
