GALLATIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – Several roads were closed for multiple hours in Gallatin after a train derailed early Monday morning.

Gallatin police reported the derailment just before 8:30 a.m. in a post made on Facebook.

Officers said Red River, West Eastland, and Gray Streets were closed as crews worked to clear the scene. Roads were able to reopen just after 2 p.m. Monday.
