The Storm Prediction Center has reduced the area for the Marginal Risk for severe weather to the far northeast corner of the mid-state along the northern sections of the Cumberland Plateau.

A few storms there could have some gusty winds and small hail.

There will also still be a few showers or storms elsewhere in the mid-state, but they are not expected to become severe.

Otherwise, we are enjoying the break from the 90-degree temps we had for a total of nine days.
