The Under-21 Tobacco ban bill introduced in the U.S. Senate includes all products that deliver nicotine, including cigarettes, vaporizers and other e-cigarette products.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R- Ky) and Sen.Tim Kaine, (D- Va.), two sponsors of the bill, are both from states where tobacco is grown. They say the U.S. Surgeon General’s determination that teen vaping has become a national health epidemic is what led them to write the proposed legislation.
