Metro police confirmed to News 2 Thursday that a School Resource Officer has been decommissioned after they received complaints of her selling an “alcohol concoction” to school staff.
Officer Candace Steen was assigned to West End Middle School. Police said a school administrator filed a complaint that Steen had been selling a concoction of alcohol mixed with other ingredients to school staff while on duty.
Officials said Steen was decommissioned on Apr. 4 and is currently assigned to a desk job at the North Precinct.
MNPD’s Office of Professional Accountability is investigating.
