NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A water main broke Tuesday morning along James Robertson Parkway in downtown Nashville.
Metro Water Services reported the broken 16-inch water main was near the intersection of 2nd Avenue North in front of the Historic Metro Courthouse.

MWS reported the water main was patched Tuesday evening.
Roads were closed in the area as crewed worked the scene, but the roadways have since reopened.
Water service to the Historic Metro Courthouse, Justice A.A. Birch Building, Ben West Municipal Building and Nashville Downtown Detention Center has been restored following the break.
General Sessions court was closed for the remainder of Tuesday.
