NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating a homicide after one man was killed and another man was injured in a shooting outside of a Dickerson Pike bar late Saturday night.
Officers said they were dispatched to reports of a shooting in the 2900 block of Dickerson Pike just after 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18.
According to Metro police, 35-year-old Chancellor Eddins was shot outside Trvth Lounge. Another man who was with Eddins inside the bar was also hit by gunfire.

Authorities said the second man reported that he and Eddins argued with the suspect inside the venue. Then, shots were fired as they left the lounge.
The department said officers found Eddins lying on the ground just outside the door to the bar, but he died at the scene.
As for the other man, he was reportedly brought to Skyline Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
According to officials, the suspect is not in custody at this time.
