NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 34-year-old man was killed in a crash in East Nashville Thursday morning.

The crash happened just before 6 a.m. near the intersection of Granada Avenue and McFerrin Avenue.

Metro police reported investigators believe Albert Puello Cedeno was lying in the middle of the roadway when a Honda Accord traveling southbound hit him.

He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died. The driver of the Honda showed no signs of impairment, according to Metro police.

No additional information was immediately released.
