NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities said both drivers involved in an overnight collision in South Nashville have died from their injuries.
The two-vehicle crash happened at approximately 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19 at the intersection of Nolensville Pike and Winston Avenue, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

Officials said a 2017 Nissan Rogue was heading north on Nolensville Pike when the driver — identified as 24-year-old Kelly Smith of White Bluff — apparently crossed over the turn lane and into the southbound lanes, colliding with a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The driver of the Jeep — later identified as 31-year-old Emmanuel David Rodriguez-Leon, of Nashville — died at the scene.
Meanwhile, Smith was taken to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she later died, Metro police said.
According to witnesses, Rodriguez-Leon was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed before the crash.
Officials said they will conduct toxicology testing in order to determine whether drugs or alcohol played a role in this deadly collision.
