Metro Nashville Public Schools have announced the dates for their Pre-K application period.
Parents can register their kids between March 1-29 for the 2019-2020 school year.
MNPS says parents can use the Pre-K program guide to identify locations available at Enrollment Centers, elementary schools, and on the MNPS website.
Parents will also need to do the following steps:
- Provide the required documentation: Birth certificate or record of birth — Children must turn four (4) years old on or before August 15, 2019 (with some exceptions). Proof of Davidson County residency — Current utility bill, telephone, lease or homeowner policy. Parent/Guardian photo ID — Driver’s license, state-issued ID, passport or military ID.
- Secure a student identification number: Visit one of the Enrollment Centers, the Ivanetta H. Davis or Ross Early Learning Centers, or the Family Information Center with the documentation to receive a required student identification number.
- Complete and submit a 2019-2020 Pre-K Application – Complete the application online in-person at an Enrollment Center. Applicants will then receive next steps containing important dates for the selection process.
