Metro police officer trainee fired after domestic assault arrest

A Metro police officer trainee has been fired after he was arrested for misdemeanor domestic assault on Tuesday night.  

According to a release, detectives began an investigation involving Brandon Moore after his girlfriend reported he became aggressive toward her and held her down during a dispute at their Antioch apartment last Thursday.  

Moore, 26, has since been released from jail on a $2,500 bond.  

He entered the MNPD Academy on May 1.
