Memorial Day events across Middle Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Check out some of the Memorial Day events happening across Middle Tennessee. 

  • In Clarksville, a program begins at 10 a.m. at Beach Civic Hall at Veteran’s Plaza. 
  • In Williamson County, a ceremony begins at 10 a.m. at Five Points in downtown Franklin. The ceremony should last 45 minutes.  
  • In Dickson County, ceremonies begin at 10 a.m. at the courthouse in Charlotte.  
  • In Nashville, the Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery will host a program at 11 a.m.  
  • In Mt. Juliet, there will be a closing ceremony for the patriotic flag display at 2 p.m. The community is invited to the train station to help honor Max Anderson, a 100-year-old World War II veteran who is receiving a special escort to the event.
