MADISON, Tenn. (WKRN) — Firefighters are cleaning up at the scene of a massive fire in northern Davidson County.

It happened at Castle Powersports in Madison on Gallatin Pike. Officials say it started around 4 p.m.

No injuries have been reported in connection with the blaze.

Following the preliminary investigation, fire officials say the cause was determined to be a spark that lit a nearby box on fire as a crewmember was welding.

Officials say there were many motorcycles and vehicles inside that were destroyed in the fire.

The public is asked to avoid the area, as toxic carcinogens are burning as a result of the fire.

Castle Powersports posted the following update to their Facebook page Friday afternoon:

Big fire at the Castle today. Just to let everyone know we are all ok. Still burning and many fire department trucks here working on the mess. We will start picking up the pieces tomorrow.
