Metro police have identified the 19-year-old man killed in an apparent targeted shooting Monday night near his apartment in the Inglewood neighborhood.

Officers responded to the call around 9 p.m. on Lemont Drive.

When police arrived, they located Charles Easley in the street with multiple gunshot wounds.

The 19-year-old was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses at the scene told officers they heard multiple gunshots and then saw at least two people run toward a white four-door sedan parked behind the victim’s apartment.

The vehicle fled the scene on Lemont Drive, police said.
