Arrest made after 3rd shooting in 4 days in Hendersonville

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) - - Just after midnight on Saturday Hendersonville police were called to the third shooting in just four days in the Curtis Crossroads area.

This time police say they arrested the shooter without incident and that no injuries were reported as a result of the shooting. 

54-year-old Robert Sauer is charged with 2 counts of attempted 1st degree murder,aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and vandalism. 

Officers were already investigating two other shootings in that area. The first was Tuesday along Edgewood Drive and the second Wednesday also in the Curtis Crossroads area. 

No injuries were reported in any of the shootings. They are being investigated as acts of targeted vandalism. 

Sauer is being charged in connection with all three incidents and being held in the Sumner County Jail on $1,000,000 bond.
