Humphreys County authorities find human remains Saturday morning

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Humphreys County authorities told News 2 they found human remains in water under a bridge Saturday morning.

The sheriff confirmed with News 2 that these are not the remains of “Baby Joe” Clyde Daniels.

Sheriff Davis also told News 2 that The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is on the scene. He said fishermen found the remains in the Buffalo River off of I-40.

The Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office posted the following information to their Facebook page:

The identity was later identified as 65-year-old Gregory Lamond Brantley, a retired Air Force veteran and truck driver from Benton County.
