Charges against accused Opry Mills shooter Justin Golson were dismissed Monday, according to online court records.
Golson was charged with criminal homicide in the shooting of Demarco Churchwell after a dispute inside the mall.
Churchwell suffered a gunshot wound to the neck. He was taken to Tristar Medical Center where he died.
After the shooting, police said Golson left the mall and walked to the nearby ticket booth at the Opry House where he surrendered his gun and told someone to call police.
Golson claimed self-defense in the shooting.
