MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a 19-year-old who has been missing since the weekend.
Michaelle Jo Lynn Van Kleef was last seen in Mt. Juliet near the Benders Ferry Road area on Sunday, Oct. 30, according to the sheriff’s office.
An Endangered Child Alert has now been issued by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on behalf of the sheriff’s office.
Van Kleef is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall with blue eyes and brown hair. Officials say Van Kleef was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and black boots. The only item she may have taken with her is a wallet containing her ID and bank card.
Crews returned to the Benders Ferry Road area Wednesday to continue searching for Van Kleef.
“We’ve got people on the ground. We’ve utilized air control to see the overview of layout of the area. We are doing everything we can within our power to try and locate her,” explained Captain Scott Moore.
Moore said there is no indication she was meeting with anyone.
A $25,000 reward is now being offered for information that leads to locating Van Kleef.
Anyone who has seen Van Kleef or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office at 615-444-1412.
