Although there still will be some light rain showers through early evening, the heavy and steady rains have pushed east.

However, many creeks and streams are still flooding roadways across the mid-state.

Flood Warnings and Flood Advisories remain in effect for many counties in Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky.

Later tonight and most of Thursday will be dry.

BUT it won’t last for long.

Light rain showers push back in Thursday late afternoon and evening, but become heavy by Friday morning and Friday night.

That is followed by more storms on Saturday, some of which may become strong to severe by late Saturday afternoon and evening with damaging winds and possibly tornadoes, along with heavy downpours.

We finally dry out on Sunday.

By the way, today’s rains pushed February 2019 to the 4th wettest ever.  With only 2.04″ to go, it will likely be #1 by this weekend.
