NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Emergency crews are investigating a small building collapse in Hillsboro Village on Wednesday afternoon.
The collapse occurred around 5 p.m. at the building that previously held Jackson's Bar & Bistro on 21st Avenue, which is located between Fido and Pancake Pantry.
The restaurant closed in Aug. 2018 after 19 years in business.
The building was currently under renovation, but officials have not said if this was the cause of the collapse. Structural engineers are currently on the scene working to determine the cause.
The rest of the strip, including Fido and a boutique, were evacuated for safety purposes.
