Dickson Mayor declares Apr. 23 ‘Baker Policy Day’ to honor fallen Deputy

Local News

Dickson County Mayor Bob Rial has declared April 23 “Baker Policy Day” as a way to honor fallen Dickson County Deputy, Sgt. Daniel Baker.

Mayor Rial is encouraging the citizens of Dickson County to wear blue all day to honor the late deputy. He said the day should be used to not only honor Sgt. Baker, but to motivate citizens to help one another through random acts of kindness.

Lisa Baker has asked that anybody who does a kind thing tag her or Daniel in the video so that she can share them with their daughter, Meredith.

Sgt. Baker was killed in the line of duty on May 30, 2018.
