Nashville city leaders have filed a lawsuit against “Bird Scooters”.

The filing comes after two women were hit by a car while riding the electric scooters in downtown Nashville last month.

Now, Metro is calling on the company to no longer allow users to park the scooters on the metro sidewalks.

The complaint by the city is requesting the company pay a fine every time a scooter is found on a city sidewalk.

Metro Council is also considering new regulations for the electric scooters.
