Brooks & Dunn headline free CMT Crossroads concert with special guests

Local News

Thousands of fans packed the streets of downtown Tuesday night for a free concert by top-selling country duo Brooks & Dunn.

The crowd spilled out of Broadway onto sidewalks and behind the stage for the CMT Crossroads concert.

Brett Young, Jon Pardi, Luke Combs and Midland were among those that performed tracks with the duo from their Album REBOOT.

Fans came early from afar and stayed late.

“I’m here from Orlando,” said Nancy Belanger. “We come every year. This is about our 12th year, and we come early so we can see everything — and Brooks & Dunn being here is very exciting!”

The Crossroads taping will air on Friday, June 28. It’s all part of the excitement leading up to Wednesday night’s CMT Music Awards show.
