While most of the mid-state will only see showers overnight, The Storm Prediction Center is maintining a Marginal Risk (Category 1 out of 5) for severe weather overnight for the far southeast and east sections of Middle TN.
Many southern counties have been removed from the risk area.
That area is where temeratures were in the 70s most of the day south of a stationary front. Meanwhile, areas north of the Marginal Risk area are in the 60s.
One round has already make its way into parts of that area as of early this evening. Another is possible between midnight and sunrise.
Potential impacts in the affected areas are gusty winds, and downpours, along with possible hail.
