Three students at Station Camp High School in Sumner County were arrested last week after officials say they had a gun in the school.
According to a letter sent to parents by the school, the administration was notified about a student who made a social media post Jan. 10 that appeared to show them in the school bathroom with a gun.
A student was taken into custody and the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office began investigating, according to the letter.
After an investigation, police said a gun was recovered off campus and three students were arrested. They also face disciplinary action from the school district.
Police said there is currently no safety threat to the school.
