GILES COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person died Saturday morning as result of a drowning in a Giles County lake, according to the Giles County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said deputies with the GCSO along with multiple other agencies, responded to Abernathy Lake around 11 a.m.
The GCSO confirmed one person died as a result of an accidental drowning.
The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.
