A man is dead after a crash at a Green Hills intersection Saturday morning.
Police said 67-year-old Paul Lindquist was traveling east on Woodmont Blvd. In a 2004 Nissan Frontier pickup truck around 10 a.m. Saturday morning when he encountered a red light at the Granny White Pike intersection.
Officers said the truck hit the back of a Lexus sedan, causing the Lexus to rear end a Chevy Silverado pickup truck. The Silverado then crashed into the rear of a Chevy Tahoe.
After the initial impact, police said the frontier continued around the three cars and into the intersection before hitting a utility pole.
Lindquist was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
It hasn’t been determined if Lindquist suffered a medical event prior to the crash.
No other drivers were injured.
