One person was critically wounded in an early Sunday morning shooting.
Metro police said the shooting happened during an attempted robbery just before 2 a.m. at the Lotus Inn Motel just southeast of Donelson.
The motel is on Percy Priest Drive near Interstate 40 and Stewarts Ferry Pike.
Police told News 2 that the victim, who was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, was shot in the abdomen and in both legs
Authorities said the suspects were described as two black men, one with dreadlocks, and a white female.
No other details were immediately released.
