NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – One of Nashville’s signature dishes will be available nationwide beginning Monday.

Kentucky Fried Chicken will begin selling its new Nashville Hot Chicken across the country.

According to KFC’s website, the meal “was inspired by one of Nashville’s most famous dishes. It’s spicy, smoky, crispy chicken that’s bold and full of flavor.”

The chain will also offer a Nashville Hot Tender dish. KFC tested the new product in Pittsburgh. The restaurant chain also brought the offering to other cities named “Nashville” across the country using a food truck.

KFC released a Youtube commercial in September featuring narration from comedian Norm MacDonald as the Colonel who claims the chicken is not THAT hot.

This is the fourth new chicken recipe KFC has introduced in its 86 year history.
