A Nashville man shot and killed his wife during an argument, according to Metro police.
Cleveland Lamont Bell, 45, shot his wife in the head at their home on Southside Court.
After the incident, Bell apparently showed up at a friend’s house. Police say the friend called 911 to report the shooting, as he was driving the suspect back to his home.
Police arrived at the house around 9:45 p.m. Saturday night. They found Tonya Davis, 42, lying in the front entryway.
During an interview with detectives, Bell allegedly admitted to shooting Davis during a heated argument.
He was charged with criminal homicide and held without bond.
