HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) - Police say a Hendersonville man murdered his wife and may have used the cord from a vacuum cleaner to strangle her.
Autrey Dye, 52, was charged with first-degree murder of his wife, Allison Dye, 50.
Officers responded to a 911 call last Wednesday, November 28, at the home in the 100 block of Maple Drive.
According to a police affidavit obtained by News 2, Allison Dye was found dead with a vacuum nearby.
Autopsy results showed she had wounds to her neck and the width was consistent with the vacuum cord.
Police said the motive is under investigation.
No word yet on a court date for Autrey Dye.
