NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) - Nashville sealed the deal to get the Amazon operations center with three words: City on Fire.
News 2 got a look at the city's presentation from October 2017, which described Nashville as one of the hottest tourist destinations and one of the most livable cities in the country.
It also included in-depth write-ups on the diverse population, unique neighborhoods, and large health care industry.
And it concluded with three more words: We are ready.
At the time, the city was hoping to land Amazon's new HQ2, which ultimately went to Virginia and New York.
But the operations hub is still a big win for the city, bringing in 5,000 jobs.
