Robert Griffin, 29, was later arrested on charges of criminal homicide and felon in possession of a gun, according to investigators.

Police said Hall had entered the store, followed a short time later by Griffin, who spoke with several people inside.

After Hall exited the business, investigators said Griffin followed him to his car, and the two men got into an argument, leading Griffin to fatally shoot Hall.

Detectives said Griffin was arrested at a relative’s home and confessed to the fatal shooting.

He was booked into the Metro jail around 9 a.m. Thursday.
