Home surveillance helps identify Franklin car burglary suspect

News

A teenager was arrested after Franklin police said he was caught on home surveillance video trying to break into a car.

A Ring camera showed him checking to see if a truck is unlocked in the Gateway Village neighborhood on Feb. 4.

Franklin police saw the video and said it helped link the suspect to other car break-ins in the area.

Jordan Walker, 18, is accused of stealing from unlocked cars. He faces multiple vehicle burglary and theft charges.

A vehicle he can be seen driving in the surveillance video was stolen during a carjacking in Nashville, according to Franklin police.

Walker is currently being held in the Sumner County jail on several similar charges.
