Hendersonville police recovered four stolen cars and made five arrests in the cases.
According to a release, Hendersonville police was patrolling a local apartment complex Monday morning and found a stolen car from Murfreesboro and four occupants. A short time later, police said another stolen car was recovered in West Nashville, which the four admitted to being in while they stole the car from Murfreesboro.
Investigators said 21-year-old Annisha Johnson, 18-year-old Dvonte Blivens, 18-year-old Decarlo Churchwell, and a 16-year-old were charged with possession of stolen property over $2,500 and two counts of burglary to a vehicle. Police believe they are connected to several other incidents in other counties.
Hendersonville police said they recovered two additional stolen cars out of Nashville later in the morning. A 16-year-old driving one of the cars was arrested. Police said they are following leads concerning the second stolen car.
