UPDATE: The sheriff reported that the children and their father were found safe.

Officials in Grundy Co. are looking for two children that were taken from daycare by their father on Friday and could be in danger.

The two children, ages 2 and 4, were picked up by their father Brian Crisp around 3 p.m.

The children’s names are Addalyn and Brynlee Crisp.

Police say Brian has shared custody of one of the children and had permission to pick up the other child. However, he’s been out of communication since yesterday.

Crisp is known to be violent and struggles with drug addiction.

He was last seen driving a green 2006 Chrysler Town & Country van with Tennessee tag  #1K2-0B6.

Officials say he could be headed to the McMinnville/Warren County area.

If you know Crisp’s whereabouts or see the children, call 911.

Officials say they are working with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to release an endangered child alert for the children.
