Gov. Haslam orders flags at Capitol, state office buildings to be flown at half-staff

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — By order of Governor Bill Haslam, flags over the state Capitol and all state office buildings shall be flown at half-staff in honor of those who were lost Thursday during the tragic acts of violence in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Flags should be lowered effective immediately.

They will remain at half-staff until sunset on Friday, July 24.  This will include four consecutive business days next week, honoring the life of each serviceman that was lost.Click here for complete coverage of the Chattanooga shooting.
