NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -Good Morning Nashville had very special furry visitors Friday morning—the clouded leopard cubs just born at the Nashville Zoo.
Eight-week-old Jules and Jillian are sisters, born to Niran, the zoo’s famous A.I Cloud who was born at the zoo.
Clouded leopards are highly-endangered and are the “keystone” species of the zoo, which has worked hard on conservation efforts for the species.
Thirty-eight cubs have been born at the Nashville Zoo since 2009.
The cubs will remain at the zoo until they are matched with a male and moved to other facilities.
They can be seen every day at the new state-of-the-art veterinary clinic and at Brew at the Zoo next week.
