Gas line rupture causes businesses to evacuate in Mt. Juliet

MT JULIET GAS RUPTURE

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — A construction crew struck a natural gas line causing businesses in the area to evacuate.

Around 1:30 p.m. Friday, crews responded to a gas line rupture behind Kroger in Providence Marketplace.

Kroger and businesses attached to the grocery store evacuated as a safety precaution.

The rupture was contained within thirty minutes and no injuries were reported.
