French culture will be celebrated in Music City Saturday when Alliance Francaise de Nashville holds its second ever festival in Sevier Park.
The event coincides with Bastille Day, which is France’s National Day and commemorates the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille.
The event is free, family-friendly, and open to the community. There will be food trucks, live music, backyard games and French wine.
The festival will host over 15 vendors and sponsors, to include a French-inspired food market, French artifacts and antiques, and other local non-profit organizations with a connection to France. A selection of French wines will be available for purchase by the glass.
French artists Madeleine Besson and Eric Brace and friends will provide the evening’s musical entertainment.
The festival is dog friendly and open to all ages. Guests are encouraged to bring games to share, lawn chairs and blankets.
Francophiles can get their fix from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sevier Park.
