Four teens arrested for car burglaries and auto theft

A crash stemming from a burglary call has landed four teens behind bars.

The crash happened just after 3:30 A.M. near the 1-65 split north of downtown Nashville. 

Authorities told News 2 Hendersonville police spotted the suspects trying to break into cars prior to the pursuit. The suspects fled in a blue Ford F-150 down I-65 South.

The truck was stopped by spike strips near the Fern Avenue Overpass, which caused the truck to crash into a rock wall. 

Four young people are now in custody following the crash:

Anthony Williams,19, has been charged with eight counts of burglary, theft over $10,000, theft under $1,000 and evading arrest. 

D’Tarious Watkins, 19, has been charged with eight counts of burglary, theft over $10,000, theft under $1,000 and evading arrest. 

Jabari Moothery, 18, has been charged with eight counts of burglary, theft over $10,000, theft under $1,000 and evading arrest and possession of a weapon with intent to go armed. 

Robert Goodner,18, was located and taken into custody in Hendersonville. He faces eight counts of burglary and theft under $1,000. 

The truck used by the suspects was reported stolen out of Nashville.
