NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A former Hermitage babysitter was found guilty Thursday of child rape and abuse after she inserted a hairbrush into a child’s rectum in 2012.
Becky Burlison, 42, was found guilty one two counts of aggravated rape of a child and one count each of aggravated child abuse and aggravated child neglect.
She was arrested in April 2012 after the two-year-old boy she was babysitting suffered severe injuries after a hairbrush was inserted into his rectum.
The handle broke and became lodged inside the little boy’s body.
