DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) - Joseph Daniels and his wife Krystal have been transferred from the Dickson County Jail to different state prisons run by the Tennessee Department of Corrections
District Attorney Ray Crouch confirmed Joe Clyde Daniels' father was moved to Riverbend Maximum Security Institution for what he called "safekeeping."
Dickson County Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe confirmed that Krystal Daniels was also moved. She's now housed at the Tennessee Prison for Women on Stewarts Ferry Pike in Nashville.
Both parents are expected to stand trial separately next March in connection with the death of their 5-year-old son, Baby Joe Daniels.
Joseph Daniels is charged with murder and could face the death penalty.
