ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ to broadcast at Bristol Motor Speedway

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WATE) – The Vols will go against the Virginia Tech Hokies this weekend at the Pilot Flying J Battle at Bristol and ESPN’s “College GameDay” will broadcast from Bristol Motor Speedway from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Rece Davis, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack will host the show from the Earhart East Parking Lot near “The Last Great Colosseum.”

It’s the first time the show has aired from a NASCAR facility.MORE: Livestream of Bristol Motor Speedway being transformed into football field. 

A ticket to the game is not required to attend the show. However, a ticket is required to walk through the speedway property.

Fans may park at 2636 Volunteer Parkway.News 2 will air a Battle at Bristol special Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. The game will broadcast Saturday, Sept. 10 on WKRN at 7 p.m. CST.Click here for full coverage of the Battle at Bristol.
