NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly downloading sexually explicit images of children onto a mobile device in south Nashville.

Metro police reported registered sex offender Randall Grosvenor, 36, downloaded several explicit images of minor girls in May.

Police received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children after Google sent a report to the organization.

Google reported 10 sexual images of girls around 6 years of age were downloaded to an email address allegedly belonging to Grosvenor.

According to an affidavit, Google also reported Grosvenor’s phone number, which was associated with his email account.

Investigators were able to trace Grosvenor’s IP address, which was linked to his email, to a home in south Nashville.

A search warrant was executed at Grosvenor’s residence on Tuesday. Grosvenor allegedly admitted to finding the images on the internet and downloading them to his tablet.

Grosvenor was booked into the Metro jail and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and community supervision violation. His bond was set at $80,000.
