Metro police have arrested a 17-year-old they say was involved in the robbery and kidnapping of a Green Hills man earlier this month.

Police captured Sanquez Jones on West End Ave. near Elmington in Nashville on Tuesday.

They say he’s involved in the robbery and kidnapping at a home on Charleston Place Circle on Aug. 7.

The 33-year-old victim reported to police he arrived home at 10 p.m. and parked in his garage. He said when he opened his car door he was immediately hit in the head and he saw a pistol pointed at him.

According to police, two suspects demanded money and tried to take the victim’s car, but they did not know how to drive a manual transmission.

Police said they subsequently forced the victim to go with them in their vehicle, where three other people were, to withdraw money from an ATM.

The suspects allegedly threatened to kill the victim and his family.

Police said after getting cash from the ATM, the suspects fled. The victim was able to then walk to a nearby business and call police.

Orlando Harris Jr., 21, and Deion Glover, 19, were arrested on charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping on August 14 in connection with the same case.  They remain jailed.
