Harding Place shooting

A teenager faces drugs and weapons charges following a shooting last year on Harding Place in South Nashville.

An Que Lam, 19, was charged Tuesday with possession of drugs and paraphernalia as well as illegal possession of a firearm.

Metro police said Lam was shot on November 14 outside of his residence on Harding Place near Wauford Drive.

According to an arrest affidavit, Lam and Branden Krech were in a vehicle in Lam’s driveway rolling a marijuana blunt when two unknown people pulled up and shot at them.

Lam, 18 years old at the time, was hit by at least one bullet, the paperwork stated.

Officers said Lam was able to get to a family member’s home to call for help.

During the course of the shooting investigation, police said they realized Lam and Krech were shot while in a stolen vehicle.

A search also led to the discovery of two guns, 79 grams of marijuana, 16 Xanax bars and drug paraphernalia, detectives said.

Court documents showed Krech was arrested last month on drugs and weapons charges in connection with the case.

Metro police have not said if anyone was charged with shooting Lam.
