NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police are actively seeking a man wanted in the death of another man outside of Bar Louie on 11th Avenue South on Friday night.
According to Metro police, 26-year-old Berwin Freeman Jr. is charged with criminal homicide in the death of 30-year-old Timothy Fields.
Investigators believe Fields stepped out of the bar to retrieve a cigarette when a brief argument ensued between him and a man, alleged to have been Freeman, standing beside a dark colored Nissan Altima.
Just after Fields was shot, the gunman got into the Altima and fled, according to Metro police. Fields was rushed to a hospital where he died.
No additional information was immediately released.
