Suspect sought in weekend Clarksville homicide

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities have identified the 22-year-old man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting over the weekend outside of a Clarksville business.

Once in custody, Delion Trouse will be charged with criminal homicide in the death of the 21-year-old victim, Clarksville police said.

Officers responded around 4:15 a.m. Sunday to a shooting in a parking lot along Wilma Rudolph Boulevard near South Hampton Place, where the victim was found deceased.

Based on information provided by witnesses, officers determined there was an altercation between multiple people in the parking lot and, at some point, shots were fired and a 21-year-old man was hit by gunfire.

There were reports of several vehicles fleeing prior to police arrival, police said.
